As Louisiana struggles to cope with COVID-19, many of our clients have been severely impacted financially due to closures and quarantines related to the corona virus. We are doing our best to keep up to date with all of the social services that are available to help bridge the gap during these difficult times. One particularly affected group of our clients have been servers and bartenders. Here are some grants and other financial resources available to the service industry community:

To qualify, individuals applying must also:
- Have earned below 80 percent of the Area Median Income (AMI) prior to the COVID-19 pandemic
- Worked more than 32 hours per week in restaurants, bars, or hotels in the Greater New Orleans Foundation’s 13-parish region prior to March 9, 2020

One Fair Wage
If you have been affected by the corona virus, One Fair wage is providing cash assistance to restaurant workers, car service drivers, delivery workers, personal service workers and more who need the money they aren’t getting to survive.
